Chuckles Day Nursery and Pre-school at Station Road, Perranwell

Chuckles Nursery and Pre-school at Station Road, Perranwell Station is situated in a converted Methodist Chapel in the centre of the village. The nursery opened in August 2001 and is registered for 50 children.

The nursery provides care for children from a wide catchment area including Stithians, Falmouth, Ponsanooth and Mylor as well as the village itself. Being situated close to the A39 (Truro to Falmouth road) we are just 2 minutes away from the Perranarworthal junction. This means that we are conveniently situated for the Penryn Campus of Falmouth University.

Breakfast & After School Club

We also offer a breakfast and after school club during term time for 4 -11 year olds,
from 8-8.50am and 3 – 5.45pm hrs.

We operate a walking bus to and from Perranarworthal CP School to our setting. We recognise that school age children have already had a very structured day, so we offer activities that allow them to choose what they want to do and if they want to relax then that is alright too! Activities include art and craft, Lego, books, PS2, Wii, table-top football and traditional board games.
