Health & Nutritious Food

Our meals and snacks are planned using the Healthy Under 5’s principles and are freshly cooked each day by our experienced chef. We cater for special diets should your child need them e.g.: Dairy/soya free, gluten free and vegetarian. Our chef has attended training on childrens nutrition and allergies and is always happy to talk to parents about our menu and recipes. Here is a sample of our menu. We also provide mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks such as fresh fruit, raw vegetables, dip, cheese and crackers. Our nursery has a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 from the environmental health department. Sample Menu

Monday

Chicken supreme, couscous and carrots. Natural yogurt with honey.

Tuesday

Pitta stuffed with vegetarian chilli, cheese and cucumber. Fresh fruit platter.

Wednesday

Roast pork, roast potatoes and green beans. Natural yogurt with fruit compote.

Thursday

Fish curry with mixed vegetable rice. Fresh fruit platter.

Friday

Spaghetti Bolognese with hidden vegetables. Natural yogurt with honey.

We also provide mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks such as fresh fruit, raw vegetables, dip, cheese and crackers. Both of our nurseries have been awarded a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 by the environmental health department.
