Welcome to
Chuckles Nursery
Perranwell Station
Chuckles Nurseries Limited opened their first nursery in Truro in 1995; we now operate from our setting at Perranwell Station. We provide a family centred approach to childcare. We offer full or part time care for children aged 3 months to 5 years and free early years education for children aged 2 to 5 years, subject to eligibility.
All children enjoy learning experiences under the revised Development Matters Framework 2021 to enable them to reach their full potential. We are also a flexible provider. Our nursery is conveniently located on the outskirts of Truro whilst still on the main commuter links into Truro and Falmouth. We are well situated to serve the Royal Cornwall Hospital, County Hall and Falmouth University (University of Exeter, Penryn Campus).

Free Introductory Sessions
If you decide to let us care for your child at Chuckles we will take time to settle both you and your child into nursery. The nursery manager will arrange suitable days and times for you to initially attend with your child, then for your child to be left with us knowing that you will be returning in a short period. These sessions are tailored to each individual child. We feel that each of our settings benefit from their own individual characteristics. We hope that you will come and see for yourself.
Ideally situated for commuters travelling to and from Truro and outlying areas.
Parents as Partners
We have regular parents evenings for you to discuss your childs progress. Parents are welcome to come into the setting at any time and join in with activities or provide activities themselves for the children to join in with; maybe you could come and talk to the children about your job, hobby or religious festivals that you celebrate at home. Children’s key workers are always available to speak to parents and share their child’s learning journey with them.
